Abstract
The operating conditions of dry-type transformers depend largely on the winding insulation properties, and the winding insulation properties is closely related to its internal temperature distribution. In order to more accurately obtain the transformer thermal field distribution characteristics, this paper used the method of theoretical deduction combining with multi-physics finite element analysis software COMSOL. Multiphysics simulation of transformers 3D fluid thermal field, and eventually come to dry-type transformer 3D thermal field distribution characteristics, which provides a strong basis for online monitoring and structural optimization of dry-type transformers.
