Abstract
This paper proposes a stereo correspondence algorithm that combines motion detection method with graph cuts algorithm for stereo video sequences. In our approach, the disparity maps are divided into references and non-references. The references are first computed using graph cuts algorithm. Secondly, for the non-references make motion detection by frame difference based on HOS, and compute the disparities in moving region using graph cuts, then copy the values of the previous in the stationary region. Experimental results demonstrate that the proposed algorithm can get disparity maps from the stereo video sequences quickly and efficiently.
