Abstract :
In this paper, an implementation of adaptive equalizer in TETRA digital trunked system is proposed. The adaptive equalizer is based on LMS algorithm. The implementation not only improves the system performance of TETRA, but also needs no extra data overheads. It is verified by simulation that the implementation exhibits good performances on the bad urban channel model defined in TETRA and decreases the bit error rate (BER) by over 10%.
