Abstract :
Most of the work is based on dq model of the machine; simplifications are made on SPRD such as ignoring the injected harmonics to the system by rectifier/inverter, neglecting the overlap angle of the rectifier. The harmonic analysis of drive has been studied, the comparison of the harmonic contents of key drive waveforms over a wide range of operating speeds based on total harmonic distortion (THD) criteria is presented together with the frequency spectrum representation of the waveforms.
