Abstract
This paper presents a new 3-mode reconfigurable beam-forming array antenna for mobile WLAN application. The proposed antenna consists of four dipole antennas which are placed on four edges of square ground, and has various beam-patterns by reconfigurable power divider which has 3 operation modes. The experimental results show the proposed antenna has gains of about 2.8 ~ 5 dBi and beam-width of about 50 ~ 120° in each radiation mode.
