Abstract :
A deterministic artificial indoor radio channel is presented, built from commercial off-the-shelf (COTS) components. The channel parameters are derived in closed-form based on the component parameters. This makes the channel a bi-directional building block, useful for indoor radio system performance characterization. A directional coupler forms the heart of the channel, together with a transmission line based feedback loop.
