Abstract
In order to make the algorithm of Transmission Line Matrix method more flexible for the electromagnetic analysis of general form and characteristic structures, a 3-D TLM curvilinear cell has been proposed. The full study of the performance of this cell requires analysis of the dispersion error. The analysis of this error carried out in this paper for the cylindrical TLM algorithm shows that it is generally weak. However, the increase in the error in certain situations was already known for the SCNTLM, but it is slightly amplified for situations very close to the axis of singularity.
