Abstract :
As a newly designed major course in the direction of the "Information Technology", the "Computer System Platform" course involves comprehensive contents including computer hardware platforms, software platforms, operating platforms and also application platforms. Thus, it is difficult for students to learn this course since it covers a wide range several of knowledge. Hence, in this paper we designed and implemented an online learning and self-training system based on J2EE architecture to address these issues. The system has the functionality of importing the training questions into database in batch, and hence teachers can easily import a variety of formats of classified training questions into the database and it reduces the burden of single question importing. By using the system, students can review the knowledge learned in class, practice specifically of each chapter, and consolidate them in time. Moreover, students can also conduct a simulated examination through the automatic exam generation subsystem, which contributes to importing the effect of self-learning.
