Abstract
This paper introduces a method of the colorimetric temperature measurement based on data fusion algorithm. The temperature results can be calculated by two adjacent color components through Bayer filter array in front of CCD image sensor of digital camera substituting into colorimetric formula. Each 4 × 4 pixels calculated can get eight temperature values. Because of temperature´s continuity, one temperature can be instead of each 4 × 4 pixels area. MATLAB simulated results show that the data fusion method can not only avoid the error of selecting wavelength, but also eliminate the random error generated by individual pixels. The measurement result is more accurate.
