Abstract :
The paper presents the researches results about the electromagnetic environment in a space designed for biomagnetometry and bioelectromagnetism laboratory. There were two distinct areas to concern: very low frequencies, especially for 50 Hz and its harmonics and electromagnetic field corresponding RF communications (radio, TV), a special attention being given spectrum for telephony and digital data transmission. Each of these field sources required separate measurements and second analysis. Aim of this work has been to know the electromagnetic spectrum in order to establish strategy and methodology to ensure electromagnetic compatibility between the environment and space intended for researches. In the context of biomagnetism, researches refer at the biomagnetic field detection and measurement, for frequencies spectrum DC-1000 Hz and levels of pT. Another area of research relates to the measurements in microwave radiometry, in the fields of very low levels corresponding electromagnetic noise, correspond to (0.1 to 3) GHz bandwidth, is based on measuring the intensity of natural electromagnetic radiation from a patient´s tissue at microwave frequencies. Performances of the laboratory and anechoic room are presented.
