Abstract :
This paper presents an analysis of power for an electromagnetic generator based on permanent magnets dedicated to energy harvesting from ambient vibrations. This analysis refers to: determination of power equations for a sinusoidal input signal depending on frequency and for resonance conditions; increasing the generator power using broadband energy harvesting methods, how are, the methods to tuning the resonant frequency or the non-linear methods for wider bandwidth; experimental results regarding energy harvesting from linear and nonlinear oscillations in the described generator that uses the magnetic levitation.
