Abstract

Broadband services are changing our life. The applications of a variety of new services are also a profit growth point for operators. The evolution of the transmission quality for service has gradually attracted the operator´s attention. In this paper, we classify the services of application from user´s perspective, then describe and analyze service broadband in communication system in detail. Secondly, we research the Quality of Service (QoS) assessment and the evaluation of Quality of Experience (QoE) from the beginning of standards and technology, and then we analyze the relational model of QoS and QoE. Finally, the application prospects of broadband services are described in the future.
