  • Abstract
In Granular Computing, a multiresolution approach can allow to study a feature with a finer or a coarser resolution and thanks to that getting a way to select the adequate granularity or abstraction for a context. Indistinguishability operators are a generalization of equivalence classical relations in Fuzzy Set Theory which include similarity fuzzy relations as a particular case. Indistinguishability operators induce a natural granularity by means of a distinguished class of fuzzy sets. In this work a definition of a multiresolution indistinguishability system is proposed and several methods to build such as systems are given.
