Abstract :
Considering the high frequency modulation rate of the spaceborne Synthetic Aperture Radar (SAR), we propose an algorithm for direction of arrival (DOA) estimation based on an accurate model for the spaceborne SAR. This algorithm can solve some problems of DOA estimation for spaceborne SAR effectively, such as the high frequency modulation rate and increasing estimation errors due to the omission of the quadratic term in the signal model, etc. The simulation experiment result indicates the effectiveness of the method.
