Abstract
In today´s up growing network AON offers a very high data rate in terms of tera bit per second. At this high data rate if network is suffered by an attack than there will be a severe problem as numbers of data will be lost. So its necessary to secure the data from an attacker by reducing the vulnerability of AON components. This paper provides a summary of AON components vulnerability and related methods to minimize the effect of an attack. Furthermore it gives an overview of an attack management issues by tacking different approaches.
