Abstract
Defence typically acquires capability on a project by project basis. This acquisition strategy can result in a focus on the capability for a single project and traditionally hasn´t incorporated integration with other systems and capabilities. This approach can reduce the operational effectiveness of the capability by limiting information flow within the battlespace.
