Abstract :
In wireless sensor networks, failures occur due to energy depletion, environmental hazards, hardware failure, communication link errors, etc. These failures could prevent them to accomplish their tasks. Moreover, in critical applications, these failures could lead to disaster. Thus, it is necessary to establish an efficient fault-tolerant scheme to guarantee data delivery to the base station when some nodes fail. In this paper, we proposed a Cluster-based Fault-tolerant Scheme (CFS) which could tolerate links failures to guarantee routing reliability. Finally, we conducted several simulations to illustrate CFS performance and compared obtained results to GRAB protocol.
