Abstract :
We demonstrate high-performance 850-nm SiGe BiCMOS Opto-Electronic Integrated Circuit (OEIC) receiver with Si avalanche photodetector. With the fabricated OEIC receiver, 12.5-Gb/s optical data are successfully detected with sensitivity of -7.5 dBm.
