Abstract :
A survey is made about some possible structures of electrostatic generators suitable to be used for energy harvesting from mechanical vibrations. The structures considered have a single moving part forming one or two variable capacitors, and electronic components. Most structures can be identified with the classical electrostatic machine known as “doubler of electricity”.
