Abstract :
An open-loop interleaving synchronization control method for a two-phase interleaved micro-inverter operating at the boundary conduction mode (BCM) is proposed in this paper. It shows that the only method that results in stable interleaving operation is the synchronization of the slave converter to the turn-off instant of the master converter, where each converter operates with peak current mode. Effects of mismatched transformer magnetizing inductance and switching frequency limit on the efficiency performance are discussed in detail. Simulation and experimental results have proved the proposed interleaving synchronization control method.
