Abstract :
A SVPWM-based DTC scheme for PM BLAC machines having non-sinusoidal back-EMF and cogging torque is presented. It employs an improved electromagnetic torque observer, which takes into consideration the effect of non-sinusoidal back-EMF and cogging torque. The effectiveness of the improved SVPWM-based DTC scheme in minimizing both the low and high frequency pulsating torque induced stator torsional vibration is proven experimentally.
