Abstract
Great team working is a requirement for all organisations seeking to deliver excellent service. In complex organisations the rising need for higher performance can drive hard working and effective people to deliver personal success at the expense of organisational excellence. This paper examines a metric which can measure levels of team working. It has been applied within 16 organisations employing an estimated total of 45,000 staff. The technique is applicable to all industry sectors.
