Abstract :
In application and study of phototherapies in external tissue, it becomes necessary the delimitation of irradiation area. LED technology makes feasible the development of systems with selective irradiation area. This paper presents the design and development of a matrix irradiation system for studies and application of dermatological phototherapies. The developed system has a power control to irradiate the target tissue with an adequate power density. Also, the irradiation time it is automated. A selective area of irradiation is achieved which avoid secondary effects in healthy tissue.
