Research on software reuse methods based on the object-oriented components

Software reuse is considered as an effective method of avoiding duplication of work, improving the efficiency and quality of the software development. Software component technology is the core technology to support software reuse. In recent years, it has made a rapid development and has received a highly attention in the field of software reuse. The object-oriented technology has provided practical tools and basic theories which can be realized and applied in the software component. This paper will present the relationship between object-oriented methods and software reuse technology; it will also present the method process of extracting components in order to realize software reuse.
