Abstract :
World Wide Web can be viewed as a REST-based architecture and which uses a stateless, client-server, cacheable HTTP protocol for communication and resources is its basic element. RESTful web services use HTTP request to create and/or update, read and delete resources. Along with CRUD (Create, Read, Update and Delete) operations, there are many REST modeling issues addressed during our research related to describing the behavior of the Resources and how to show relation between resources including their attributes. In this paper we proposed the model using Unified Modeling Language to design structural and behavioral RESTful web services. We also developed hotel booking benchmark application based on these model.
