Solar apartment/house suitable for Tamilnadu during the current power crisis

In Tamilnadu, India due to severe power cuts the common citizen is suffering a lot due to the extent of power cut which may extend to 14 hrs a day or more. They are also suffering from the high electricity bills which they have to pay due to hike in power charges. They also will have to pay every year increasing charges. This article discusses solar energy as an alternative for such hardships and tries to evolve a system by which solar energy system can be implemented by the ordinary citizen.
