Abstract :
This paper considers the server farm site selection problem in cloud computing. The factors considered in the site selection include economic, environmental and social issues. This paper presents a multiple criteria decision making model for solving the server farm selection problem with green computing criteria by using a variable neighborhood search heuristic. The results illustrate both robustness and attractiveness of this solution approach.
