Abstract :
This paper deals with a series system with two identical units and repairman single vacation in which the case of common cause failure (CCF) is considered. Assumption that the life length of each unit has distributed exponentially as well as the repair time follows general continuous distribution. By employing supplementary variable approach, the availability and the reliability as well as the probability of repairman vacation are studied.
