Abstract :
Vibrational energy is available from structures such as bridges and in many industrial and automotive scenarios and this had led to the development of novel Energy scavenging technique, that is introduced to harness ambient energy from the vibrations. Design of vibration energy harvester is done through Polypower films that act as intelligent elastics, as it is capable of generating electricity from mechanical vibrations. The proposed system behaves like a perpetual device that produces effective regulated output when implemented in an array fashion. The vibrational energy from test system is tapped using Polypower film which is rolled around the system in form of sheets that damp the vibrations as well as harvest energy by damping. The signal conditioning and amplifying unit produce regulated output.
