Abstract :
This paper presents the research platform for real time digital simulation (RTS) applications which replaces the requirement of full scale or partial scale validation of physical systems. To illustrate this, a three phase AC-DC-AC converter topology has been used with diode rectifier, dc link and IGBT inverter with inductive load. This paper presents design and realization of open loop model of AC-DC-AC PWM converter. TMS 320F28335 is used for PWM pulse generation by SPWM technique. The simulation is carried out in MATLAB/SIMULINK and results of both simulation and actual model are compared. The proposed PWM algorithm has been validated in simulation and real time DSP controller domain.
