Abstract :
The online shopping systems seem to be leading the offline commerce industry due to their time saving and anytime anywhere access features. However, the online shopping lacks touch & feel facility and possesses many challenges such as security, fraud and delay in the delivery process. In this paper, we introduce a hybrid model for the shopping malls and propose a new advanced purchasing system (APS) that facilitates the smart customer (SC) to locate the promotional products through directed graph. The APS also provides comfortable system of product selection and payment where a SC does not need to carry products in the carrier and wait in a long queue for the payment. We carry out the simulation results using the 4-tier representation of the APS. The simulation results show quick transmission of the promotional product´s list to the customer and fast order completion/processing even for a large number of SCs.
