Abstract :
Nowadays, heart related diseases are caused by heavy work load and increasing social stress. Thus, it is very important to monitor our heart signal in daily life. An unconstrained BCG monitoring system is suggested in this paper. Chair type unconstrained BCG measurement system which able to perform continuous heart status monitoring at the office and daily life in is designed and developed. ECG signal measured using conventional method and BCG signal measured using unconstraint system are performed simultaneously for the purpose of performance evaluation. From the comparison result, BCG signal shows a similar heart beat characteristic as ECG signal. This proves the possibility and capability of practical implementation of unconstraint healthcare monitoring system. An experiment to evaluate the impact of audio-visual stimulation on human stress level is conducted. HRV parameters are calculated using the unconstrained BCG measurement system. The experiment result proves that the HRV parameters have the potential to be used in stress level classification. Therefore, the unconstraint BCG measurement solution is capable to identify the stress level of a personal health.
