  • Abstract
    We propose a dual-stage phase estimator controlled by the decision-directed LMS algorithm in digital coherent optical receivers. Simulations and experiments show that our proposed scheme can perfectly eliminate arbitrary frequency offsets in higher-order QAM systems.
