Abstract :
Solar Photovoltaic Cell is the basic part of the process of extracting solar energy from the Solar Radiation. Using it for a long time can cause its deterioration which reduces the performance of the solar cell. This deterioration depends on many factors of which environmental condition is one of them. This paper mainly focuses on the studies on deterioration of a Monocrystal Solar Silicon Photovoltaic Cell under the climatic condition of Bangladesh. To determine the deterioration of the Solar Silicon PV module a Monocrystal Solar Silicon PV cell have been used from the laboratory which have been being used for more than 10 years under Bangladeshi climatic condition. So the result clearly indicates the deterioration status of the solar silicon PV cell.
