Abstract :
In this paper, we focus on the energy detection for spectrum sensing under noise uncertainty environment. A double-threshold energy detection strategy is proposed and its detection performance is derived. The simulation results show that the detection performance with our strategy under noise uncertainty is even better than the one under the ideal assumption with the accurate noise variance. The strategy is applied in AWGN and Rayleigh channels with obvious improvement.
