Abstract :
This paper describes the usage of AdaBoost algorithm in Viola-Jones method of face detection. Viola-Jones is first object detection framework that provides competitive object detection rates in real-time. This framework is widely used in solving face detection tasks. The Viola-Jones method uses several technologies and algorithms. One of them is boosting algorithm AdaBoost, which is used to build classifiers cascades of objects.
