Abstract :
In this paper the application of web service orchestration approach for engineering computational workflows execution is studied. Special attention is paid to the problem of adapting the WS-BPEL standard web service composition language and existing compatible tools for the task of automated execution of engineering calculations. Implementation details and performance issues of the proposed solution are also covered.
