Abstract
A transistor oscillator 24.7 GHz with rectangular dielectric resonator (DR) working in HEM221 mode in feedback path between drain and gate was developed in the microstrip structure. Lower mode oscillations were suppressed by properly designed layout of the circuit. 4.5 dBm output power and 100 dBc/Hz phase noise at 100 kHz from the carrier was achieved with transistor VMMK-1225.
