Abstract
This paper presents evaluation of radar coherent sidelobe canceller (SLC) performance. It includes theoretical analysis of parameters limiting SLC sidelobe jamming signal cancellation, namely antenna mainlobe signal samples (ground clutter), adaptation ageing and reception of more signals than auxiliary channels. Results are documented on received signal records of two different radars. These two radars operate in VHF and X bands and utilize different antennas configuration, fixed multiple antennas covering whole horizon and a single auxiliary antenna moving along with the main radar antenna. The signals utilized for evaluation cover different types of jamming and background.
