Abstract :
One-dimensional phased array antenna which consists of injection-molded dielectric waveguide has been proposed. In this antenna, they set the impedance matching structure close to the aperture so as to suppress the active reflection coefficient toward only the bore sight. As a result, the reflection and axial characteristics became worse, when scanning to the wide angle. In this paper, the two-dimensional circular polarized horn array antenna with low axial ratio is presented. By suppressing the active reflection coefficient of the inverse component of the reflected waves, low axial ratio is realized even when scanning to the wide angle. The fabricated antenna has good performances at 40GHz band, and the measurement results agree with the calculated ones.
