Abstract :
A new implementation of a low-reflection microwave lens based on loaded transmission lines is proposed. The lens has a flat profile with well-matched interfaces and inhomogeneous refractive index which is achieved by loading the transmission lines comprising the lens with different inductive elements. The operation of the lens is studied numerically and using a semi-analytical approach.
