Abstract :
One of the results of the ACE benchmarking activity was a paper in the AP Magazine in 2009, where a commercially available GSM antenna was benchmarked with six simulation tools. The results were revealing. This structure showed a quite astonishing dispersion in the simulated results. However, there were some issues left uncovered. This year, within the yearly benchmarking cycle of the EuRAAP Working Group on Software, this structure was benchmarked again by the software vendors themselves, in order to see how the software tools progressed in the last 5 years.
