Abstract
The possible impacts or advantages of using triangular grids over rectangular grids on the scanning performance of planar finite-sized dual-band arrays is investigated. Scan volume, based on the maximum scanning angle, and variation of the peak-to-sidelobe levels with scanning are used as metrics for the comparative analysis.
