Abstract :
We compare the bistatic radar cross section of 2-D scatterers and corresponding finite-length 3-D scatterers, in order to quantify the discrepancy between 2-D and 3-D results. We consider only TM mode in 2-D case, and corresponding 3-D excitation. Method of moments (MoM) with surface integral equation formulation is used for the numerical analysis.
