Abstract :
Simulation in the High Frequency domain has been extensively studied. But, despite the accuracy reached by some propagation software, the behavior of HF radar data is not retrieved. We point out here the effects, on radar signals, of time and space variations along the propagation path. We also propose a way to insert this random aspect into simulation schemes. The results seem to comply with the measurements.
