  • Abstract
    In recent years, various types of medical applications of microwaves have widely been investigated and reported. In this paper, two types of surgical devices, which use the thermal effect of microwave, are introduced. In addition, their characteristics are evaluated by numerical calculations and experiments. As a result of investigations, possibilities of surgical treatment by developed devices could be confirmed.
