Abstract :
A setup for phaseless microwave imaging is presented in this paper. The setup is based on the Leith-Upatnieks or off-axis holography in which the scattered signal is combined with a reference signal that is known in both amplitude and phase. The reference signal is synthesized by a mechanical movement of the object under test together with the injection of a constant signal. Thus, previous measurement for full characterization of the reference signal as well as the use of a phase shifter is avoided.
