Abstract :
In this paper, we present the ubiquitous healthcare monitoring (UHM) system whose medical communication devices (MCD) by wearable wireless sensors and planar super wideband (SWB) antenna proper to real-time pervasive healthcare monitoring. The novel scenario is suitable for mobile patient station (MPS) by using a super wideband wireless resource on seamless healthcare monitoring applications. The UHM system with the wider operating bandwidth will availably extend channel capacity exceeding many times than the conventional narrowband healthcare system, lack of an ambient way for real-time vital signs transmitting. The proposed compact MCD can widely offer radio delivering resources whose impedance bandwidths cover 1.44~18.8 GHz. This broadband MCD with compact characteristic not only providers short/long distance transmitting resources, including the DVB-H in L-band (for PMP), DCS, PCS UMTS, Bluetooth, WiMAX2500, LTE2600, and UWB bands but also the one gives emerging real-time healthcare monitoring for mobile/nomadic elderly people. Furthermore, the proposed antenna also demonstrated a wide 14-dB bandwidth from 5.4 to 12.5 GHz, which is suitable for UHM system on outdoor propagation.
