Abstract :
Simulation & analysis community lacked the capability to efficiently and accurately represent weather in NextGen studies, FAA´s Concept Analysis Branch developed weather polygons to help eliminate this gap, weather Polygons have been used in impact studies, visualizations, and fast-time simulation has been discussed. This tool is not limited to convective weather. Any gridded data can be used- turbulence, icing, etc.
