Message from general chair and program chair

Tthe 6th Joint IFIP Wireless and Mobile Networking Conference (WMNC-2013) was held at in Dubai, United Arab Emirates (UAE) in April 2013. There were 26 papers accepted as work-in-progress papers from the regular-paper submissions. The Call-for-papers of WMNC-2013 attracted 212 regular-paper submissions and 51 work-inprogress- paper submissions from 45 countries all over the world. To ensure a high standard of the conference, each paper was sent to three reviewers. After a rigorous process based on the recommendations of the TPC and external reviewers, 108 papers were accepted: 69 regular papers and 38 work-in-progress papers (17 papers accepted as work-in-progress from the regular-paper submissions and 22 papers accepted from work-in-progress-paper submissions). The selected papers illustrate the state of the art, current discussions, and development trends in the areas of wireless and mobile networks and services.
